We’ve been working diligently for almost a year now to create one of the most interesting, informative and memorable statewide writers’ conferences you have seen in Idaho. Our expectations are high, our energies are high, and our desire for you to enjoy and learn are even higher.
Therefore, we are putting together a deep dive into a toolbox of tactics and techniques that will be guaranteed to help you push your writing, publishing and marketing efforts to the next level.
We have a couple of amazing keynote speakers, lots of incredible workshops (a variety of themes, subjects and times), places and times to write, and lots of fun.
And, not only that, we get to do all of this in the beautiful Pacific Northwest setting of Sandpoint, Idaho – a little town that has just been named one of the 20 top ‘small towns on a lake’ in the U.S. by PureWow Media. (Check out http://www.purewow.com/travel/best-lake-towns-america.)
And, guess where it’s all going to happen? Right ON Lake Pend Oreille at the Best Western Edgewater Inn Resort – whose front yard is lakefront. Only steps from the swimming area, across the lawns, into City Beach Park. And the restaurant and caterer, Trinity, is in the same building, again, just steps from the beach with patios and decks full of tables for eating in the fresh clean air. Yes, that’s where this conference is being held.
And, guess what else? Our very first event will be Thursday evening with a CRUISE ON LAKE PEND OREILLE!!! It will be a Welcome and Get-To-Know-Each-Other Cruise, of sorts, for those of you who can come the night before activities begin. We hope that’s everyone.
Cruise starts at 4:30 (we’ll go down to the boat about 4), ends about 6 p.m. It’s $30 for adults and $25 for those 60 and over. – Then after the cruise, we’ll have time to explore Sandpoint, sit and chat and or eat at Trinity, walk the beach, stick our toes (or more) in the summer-warm waters of the lake, or . . . hey, your choice!! (You can sign up on the conference registration form.)
SO, we’re prepared to show you a great time!! Just come on up. We’ll be waiting for you.
